A program after our own hearts, if ever there was one! As art and music programs in schools have suffered massive cut backs in funding, "Little Kids Rock believes that learning to play a musical instrument can be a transformative experience in students’ lives, with the power to inspire the creativity and confidence that are critical to success in school and beyond. That’s why they’ve dedicated themselves to restoring and revitalizing music education in U.S. public schools, bringing free musical instruments and music instruction to more than 80,000 children disadvantaged public schools in 25 cities across the country".
As we all know, music education doesn't just make better Rock 'n' Rollers, it creates more well rounded people.
