Happy Friday the 13th! While us "adults" are scared to death of horror movies, serial killers, and the IRS... here are 13 things you never thought your kid would absolutely freak out about. We feel a little bad for a few of these babies... but not bad enough not to laugh at their terror!
13. GOING THROUGH TUNNELS.
Imagine a giant you can't see turning off the lights for no apparent reason and then turning them back on, while the trees outside are magically replaced with a dark wall, and you're flying through space like a tiny carseat-bound astronaut. Pretty freaky.
12. SHADOWS
What is that flat me-shape following me around? Where'd it come from? WHAT'S HAPPENING?!
11. ROLLERCOASTERS
We really have no comment because they're actually insanely scary. Props to the kid in this photo for keeping his eyes open!
10. STUFFED TOYS
Well... plush toys are generally not super scare-inducing, but when they're waddling at you at speeds stuffed animals don't normally travel at... sorta scary.
10. ...FARTS
:D
9. MARCHING BANDS
Terror of the tuba, fear of the flute, scared of the snare. Marching bands = nightmares for this kiddo.
8. OLD SAINT NICK
Really? This guy works hard to show up at your house with a sack-ton of gifts just for you, and THIS is your reaction?
7. MORE TOYS
When what is normally a fun surprise takes a different turn...
6. SPARE CHANGE
We're mostly just annoyed by pennies at this point. This kid is literally scared of change.
5. BUNNIES
Again, this rabbit works hard to show up at your house with a basket full of sugar, just for you, and THIS is your reaction? C'mon now!
4. EXTRA FRIENDLY ANIMALS
Back it up, Mr. Ed. Too close for comfort.
3. ...AND THE SOUNDS ANIMALS MAKE
Don't even want to imagine what happens if a duck quacks...
2. THINGS INVOLVING FAST FOOD
And she's definitely not freakin' because of the calories or lack of nutritional value...
1. THEMSELVES.
And after all, what's more terrifying than one's own self?
Enjoy your Friday the 13th, and if you need a handy-dandy way to stop your P'Baby from being afraid of the dark/monsters (totally legitimate fears), try this awesome DIY recipe for Monster Repellant!

I was the life of the party...and the only one alive, so...
The tea party was a time-honored tradition in my household. Back during my hostess days, I had a bright pink plastic tea set with a floral print and served my guests fake biscuits made out of grass and flowers and pretty much anything else I could find in our backyard. The next day you could always tell where I had the party set up because of the miniature crop-circles that appeared in the grass from my "cooking".
Imagination was really all I needed, until my father made me promise not to ruin the lawn anymore. Therefore, in honor of the arrival of Summer I have compiled a list of my favorite pretend food toys to keep the little party planners AND all the lawn-loving dads out there happy!
It a good thing that Mr. Bunny and your Jem and the Hologram dolls will never taste the difference.
Alex's Heart Tea Set
Melissa and Doug Felt Sandwich Set
Melissa and Doug's Picnic Basket Fill and Spill
Melissa and Doug Sweet Treat Tower
With any one of these awesome pretend food sets, your tea party will be rocking in no time! So, put the grass down, keep calm and party on.

Here are 25 facts about one of the world's most popular fruits:
The banana "tree" is not really a tree, but a giant herb. The banana is the fruit of this herb.
The cluster of bananas sold in supermarkets is a "hand" of bananas, while the individual bananas on the hand are called fingers. Read More...
Both my beloved home team, the Chicago Bears and my husbands home team, the New York Jets, won this afternoon. I wonder what will happen in my house if they both make it to the Super Bowl? Thank goodness neither of us are major football fans! That would be a rough one! ...Shh! Go Bears!!
