You're invited to our month-long b-day party!

On May 3, 2003 we opened Psychobaby's doors and brought our type of cool, crazy kids' stuff to the babies and kids of Chicago! Now we are super-old (we're 5!!!) and are thrilled to be here rapping about cool clothes, funky shoes, educational toys and books and rockin' accessories with all of you! Inside our May posts, you'll find Mama Lavona returning for the Taurus among us (we love her!!!), fun b-day facts (find out how much the biggest cake weighed), a Great Gift Guide and the coolest online raffle selection we've ever had the pleasure to host! We'd like to take a mo and thank our friends and team members who made all of this fun possible, and you- because a birthday really is about spending time with the ones you love, and we heart all you cool, crazy folks that have joined us here on our blog! Be sure to check out the following posts for Giveaways so you can party with us wherever you are! In the immortal words of Kool and the Gang, "Celebrate Good Times, come on!" See ya soon!

Backpocket Wisdom

Well, we are back with some new fun facts to impress your kids with, this month with a focus on artists' birthdays!

Dr Seuss,
( 3/2/04)- put a hat on your cat and celebrate! To learn about Read Across America, visit Seussville!
Michelangelo
, (3/6/1475)-paint on a sheet of paper (or parchment if you so desire!) and then once it's dry hang it on the ceiling! For rolls of paper, check out Melissa and Doug's brand page!
Vincent Van Gogh (3/30/1853) -plant your sunflower seeds inside to transfer in the spring! For tips, visit the Sunflower Stop!
Our Backpocket question of the month: In 1996, a famous American artist wrote and directed a movie about another artist's life- can you name both artists?
And congratulations to Yari for knowing her presidential pets last month- the correct answer to "What is George W. Bush's terrier's name?" is Barney! Bravo!!!
