Fun Fact: Woodrow Wilson was known for his hats, shown here in his Inauguration Day processional!

This week is full of history, as we welcome in our 44th President, Barack Obama, on his Inauguration Day tomorrow! We've seen plenty of people en route from Chicago going to celebrate, and we would love to hear first hand news in the Comments if you attend! For those of us staying home, we've all been talking about how to celebrate the day with our kids, and teach them about our Democratic Process! Here are some fun facts we have gathered for you to share with your little ones!
+ President Obama will be sworn in on the Lincoln Bible; he will be the second President to use it in his ceremony.
+Everyone waits on baited breath to hear the President speak- George Washington's address was the shortest, clocking in at 135 words, while William H. Harrison's was the longest at 8,445 words!
+ Thomas Jefferson walked to his inaugural, while William Taft's wife was the first First Lady to attend the procession!
+Harry Truman's was the first to be televised; Bill Clinton's was the first broadcast on the internet!
+The 20th amendment to the Constitution changed the Inauguration Date to January 20th!

If you have other facts to share, please feel free - and let us know what you have in store for tomorrow!
