Roasting a Turkey 101

Are you in charge this year of the annual Turkey? If so, I've got your back!

Above is a chart that was passed down to me by my grandmother years ago when I made my first bird. Yes, my turkey skills have evolved and I now brine, stuff and even have (unsuccessfully) fried my bird, but this is meant for the true first timers out there that could use some simple beginner advice!

Thanksgiving Food Drive at Psychobaby!

Psychobaby is happy to announce we will again be partnering with a wonderful local organization to help families in need this holiday season! Chicago's Association House has been working with under-served families in our community for over 100 years, with programs ranging from after-school care to employment assistance.
All you need to do to participate is to tell us what you’re thankful for this year, and we will add a feather to Dave the Turkey’s tail! For each feather, Psychobaby will donate a non-perishable food item to Association House.
Dave lives at our Chicago store, but if you leave a comment below saying what you’re thankful for, we’ll fill out your feather for you. For all our Chicago friends, feel free to drop off any non-perishable food items at our retail location. Every little bit counts!
