Summer Boredom Buster: Family Fun Festival in Millennium Park!

Has the routine of playing in the park or hanging out at the library gotten a little old? Perhaps your Psychobaby (or mommy!) has reached their wits end with running errands? We are always looking for something entertaining to get out of the summer activities slump, and a stop at the Family Fun Tent in Millennium Park is just what the doctor ordered!

Starting today, and running every day from 10am-3pm through September 2, activities from story hour and hip hop yoga, to Chic-A-Go-Go dance tv and Wiggleworms will keep kids of all ages entertained long enough for parents to take a breather. Admission is free, and activities are constantly changing. Check out the Family Fun Festival schedule for all of the happenings. What’s your favorite destination for mixing up your summer routine?

Do Division Festival 2012

Thanks to all you little (and big) Punk Rock Psychobabies that came out for faux hawks and hair streaks this past weekend at the Do Division Festival! The weather was beautiful and we seriously had the best time.

Join the Appaman Monkey Bar Challenge!

Calling all moms who once ruled the playground:

When is the last time you schooled your friends on the monkey bars? If you are anything like us we bet it was a while ago... longer than we would like to admit! 

Our cool, crazy friends at Appaman want to get you back to your former monkey barin' self!

Inspired by one monkeyin' mom, this summer challenge aims to take back the playground while supporting the battle against childhood cancer. Training starts now, so take your kids to the park so YOU can hit the bars; they just might inspire you to make it a few more rungs! 

Once Labor Day rolls around, film your complete monkey bar run and, send your video to Appaman, and consider your challenge conquered!
