If your Psychobaby is graduating from a car seat to a booster, or taking the leap from booster to buckled-in like a big kid, we encourage you to donate your used car or booster seats to our friends at Association House of Chicago!
Baby-makin’ days behind you? Don’t have any grandkids in tow? Rather than sitting in storage waiting to be used - um, let’s be honest...probably never - your non-expired car seat, or booster seat, will enable foster parents to safely transport children to and from visits with their family. Your donation is tax deductible, and will make a positive difference in a child’s life - win, win! Car seats can be dropped off at Psychobaby or taken directly to Association House. In addition to car seats, we continually accept year-round diaper donations to help Association House provide supplies to foster families in need!
Established in 1899, Association House is located in Chicago’s Humboldt Park neighborhood and serves as a multi-cultural community, creating opportunities for educational and economic advancement, in addition to promoting health and wellness.
Another ROCKIN' way to help - join Association House at Subterranenan - right around the corner from our brick & mortar -for live band karaoke on October 18! Tickets are $15 and all proceeds benefit the Child Welfare Program, which provides loving homes for children through guardianship and adoption. Sign us up for a rowdy Johnny Cash tune, please!
